FAQ for live stream preparation
Here’s what we’ll need to know to provide you with an accurate quote:
How many cameras do I need?
We think two cameras is an absolute minimum. Close-up shot of your speakers and a wide shot of the room. Adding more cameras is appropriate if you want the content to be more dynamic or is it a very large venue.
Do I need an AV company?
No, we can provide everything including sound, lighting, stage, in-room screens and more. Have a chat to us and we’ll help you scale the AV appropriately. Also, if you’ve hired a venue they’ll often provide some AV support as part of the hire cost.
Do I need a venue?
Not necessarily. Lots of spaces in offices will work depending on the style of the event. We’ll provide a free site evaluation and advise on what’ll work best for you event.
How much notice do you need prior to booking?
Minimum a week. But the more time we have, the more time we can plan and get everything in place.
Do I need a webinar/live stream platform?
Depends. If you’ re planning a webinar or internal comms event we can provide private live stream or Zoom Webinar free of charge. If your content is public we can send your stream to any and all platforms (LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch) simultaneously.
Which areas do you serve?
Anywhere! We provide onsite services anywhere in the UK and work regularly in Europe and North America.
Can you provide backup internet?
Yes. We’ll use whatever connections are available onsite and aggregate them for better reliability. However, this is only for the live stream – if you need guest wifi for your in-room audience we can arrange this too.
